State Rep Brett Harrell Announces He Will Seek Re-Election


State Representative Brett Harrell (R-106) announced today that he will seek re-election to the Georgia House in 2016.

District 106 located in Gwinnett County includes parts of Snellville, Grayson, Loganville and Lawrenceville.

The Primary Election will be held on May 24th, 2016.

Harrell also announced that he has raised over $100,000 for his re-election campaign.

“It has truly been a pleasure representing the people of District 106 at the state Capitol, and I am grateful for the opportunity they have given me to do so. I am proud of my record of supporting balanced budgets, passing meaningful transportation reform, championing efforts to curb the tide of illegal immigration and protecting taxpayers.”

“I am now excited to announce that I will seek re-election in 2016. Because of the incredible support I have received over the past five years, we have passed a milestone recently with our campaign fundraising – now in excess of $100,000. Thanks to this support, we are in a strong position moving into the election year, and I look forward to earning the continued support of the people of District 106.”

Brett Harrell was first elected to the State House in 2010. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the House Rules, Regulated Industries and the Budget & Fiscal Affairs Oversight Committees. He is also a member of the Transportation and Ways and Means Committees.
