2017 Capitol Update Week 2 – Budget Week

Budget week

Neither the House or Senate were in Session this week as meetings of the Joint House and Senate Appropriations Committees heard testimony from the Governor and various Department Heads regarding the proposed FY 2018 Budget. Though I do not serve on Appropriations, I monitored the hearings via the internet and met with several constituents and advocacy groups during the week.
The House streams most meetings live and you will find a schedule here.
